 Planet Wings was conceived in 1994 by founders Franco and Paula Fidanza. They realized that there was an amazing untapped opportunity in the retail food establishment and delivery market.  For the most part, delivery service was limited to pizza and burgers and was being provided by only a handful of restaurants. With the growing popularity of chicken wings, Franco & Paula decided the market was ready for a concept that not only provided home delivery of their delicious chicken wings, but all their menu items… including cheese steaks, heroes, salads and kid’s meals.  The first Planet Wings® concept store opened in January 1995 and Franco and Paula haven’t looked back. They committed to using only the highest quality chicken available and to give their customers an incredible value for their money. They also offered 20 outrageous wing flavors (now 24) and prepared each customers meal fresh to order. Coupled with super convenient delivery service, Franco and Paula had discovered the recipe for success.  Planet Wings Franco and Paula spent the next couple of years perfecting the concept and now have stores throughout the greater NY metropolitan area and New Jersey. Paula and Franco have also stayed focused on giving back to the community, having contributed time, money and Planet Wings resources to charitable organizations and community programs designed to improve the quality of life for people in the communities where there is a Planet Wings store.  A PHILLY TRADITION   Lee’s Hoagie House began serving their famous hoagies and cheesesteaks in 1953 out of a tiny storefront at 19th and Cheltenham Avenue in Philadelphia’s Mt. Airy neighborhood.  Starting in 1977, independent owners were able to license the brand and open their own Lee’s Hoagie House. Since then, the brand has grown with shop openings throughout the Delaware Valley and surrounding areas.  We began franchising in 2014 and opened up our first franchise in November 2015 at Temple University.
