For over 35 years our family has owned and operated a cheesesteak manufacturing company that is recognized worldwide for our commitment to quality and service. While helping our family operate the manufacturing company, my sister and I realized that we wanted to build a business offering gourmet cheesesteaks. For many years we hesitated, but finally the brother and sister duo took the step to create Cleavers and prove that there is more to the Philly Cheesesteak then ‘Whiz Wit’!Cleavers was established in March 2016 and is located in the heart of Center City Philadelphia right near Rittenhouse Park. We use 100% USDA domestic ribeye, fresh chicken breast, fresh baked bread, and fresh artisanal ingredients – all culminating in delicious Philly Cheesesteak creations. We offer a generous selection of ribeye beef, grilled chicken and cutlet chicken gourmet sandwiches on a roll, wrap or naked in a bowl. No beef or Chicken? We got you covered at Cleavers with our freshly sautéed Portobello mushroom Veggie Philly Cheesesteak! In addition to our sandwiches, we offer a variety of sides and salads for every taste. To top it off, don’t forget to try one of our signature Boozy Shakes or delicious milkshakes made with ice cream from Bassetts Ice Cream Company.At Cleavers we want our customers to leave full and satisfied. We are committed to making and serving the freshest, most delicious creations, quickly and courteously. We are not claiming to be the best, but we just think we are a “CUT ABOVE THE REST.”
