In 2006, Dr. Talonda Thomas began teaching piano and voice lessons from her New York City apartment. Her passion for music education led her to collaborate with the local Boys and Girls Club and public schools, bringing music programs to young talents. In 2013, the New York Musician’s Center (NYMC) opened its first location in Bellmore, Long Island, NY.
Offering comprehensive music education tailored to individual needs and preferences, what started with no students has grown to over 1,000 students taking weekly lessons in piano, voice, guitar, drums, and more. The experienced instructors at NYMC provide private one-on-one lessons in a fun and welcoming environment, serving students of all ages and skill levels.
Their dedication to quality has made NYMC the top choice for local music lessons, earning the title of National Music School of the Year in 2015.
Today, NYMC has expanded to include music therapy programs. Students also benefit from exceptional opportunities, such as performing at Carnegie Hall, traveling internationally for music, and participating in special events. The New York Musician’s Center is more than just a franchise opportunity—it is a chance to share the love of music and help individuals achieve their musical dreams.
